Wille Mäkelä (born March 2, 1974 in Hyvinkää ) is a Finnish curler .
Mäkelä's first medal at international level was a bronze medal at the 1998 World Championships in Kamloops when he was third on the Finnish team. In 2000 he was able to repeat this success in Glasgow.
Mäkelä was also successful at European championships. He won the bronze medal in Chamonix in 1999 and in Vierumäki in 2001. Mäkelä won the title of European Champion in Oberstdorf in 2000.
Also as Third Mäkelä played at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin in Team Finland Skip Markku Uusipaavalniemi , Second Kalle Kiiskinen , lead Teemu Salo and Alternate Jani Sullanmaa . Here the team reached the final, which they lost 4:10 against the team of Skip Brad Gushue from Canada.
