The World Curling Championships the men in 1991Canada Safeway World Men's Curling Championship in 1991 ) was the 33rd edition (including Scotch Cup curling of Lords. It was held from March 23rd to March 31st of that year in the Canadian city of Winnipeg , Manitoba , at the Winnipeg Arena .
The World Curling Championships the men was in a round-robin tournament ( round-robin ) between the teams from Scotland , Canada , the United States , Germany , Sweden , Norway , the Switzerland , Denmark , France and Finland played out.
The games were scheduled for ten ends .
Last year the Scots lost to Canada in the final. That year they beat the maple leaves in the final 7-2 after eight ends. After 1967 it was the second world title for Scotland. Since there was no match for third place, the two semi-final losers Norway and the United States received a bronze medal.
