The men's curling world championship in 1984 (officially: Air Canada Silver Broom 1984 ) was the 26th event (including the Scotch Cup ) of the men's curling world championships. It was held from April 2-8 of that year in the US city of Duluth , Minnesota , in the Memorial Auditorium .
The World Curling Championships the men was in a round-robin tournament ( round-robin ) between the teams from Scotland , Canada , the United States , the Federal Republic of Germany , Sweden , Norway , the Switzerland , Denmark , Italy and Austria played out.
The games were scheduled for ten ends .
In the final, the Norwegians and the Swiss faced each other. The Scandinavians prevailed against the Swiss Confederates and celebrated their second triumph at a men's World Cup.
