The men's curling world championship in 1970 (officially: Air Canada Silver Broom 1970 ) was the 12th event (including the Scotch Cup ) of the men's curling world championships. It took place in the Utica Memorial Auditorium in the US city of Utica ( New York State ).
The World Curling Championships the men was in a round-robin tournament ( round-robin ) between the teams from Scotland , Canada , the United States , the Federal Republic of Germany , Sweden , Norway , France and Switzerland played out. The games were scheduled for twelve ends .
In the final, Scotland could not prevent Canada's tenth title win. In the end, the maple leaves won 11: 4.
