Scotch Cup 1962

The 1962 Scotch Cup was the 4th edition of the curling tournament and was held from March 16-19 of that year in the Scottish cities of Falkirk (rounds 1 to 3 in the Falkirk Ice Rink ) and Edinburgh (rounds 4 to 6 in the Haymarket Ice Rink ) organized. The cup competition today has the status of the men's curling world championship .

The Scotch Cup was in a round-robin tournament ( round-robin ) between the teams from Scotland , Canada , the United States and Sweden , which were for the first time about to be played. The games were scheduled for twelve ends .

Canada won the Scotch Cup for the fourth time in a row.
