Ulrich "Uli" Kapp (born April 14, 1971 in Füssen ) is a former successful German curler and the younger brother of Andreas Kapp . He played for the Curling Club Füssen, is three times European champion and nine times German champion.

Kapp, who lives in Munich with his partner Monika and two children, came to curling in 1982 through his father Charlie Kapp and played in "Team Kapp" for CC Füssen from 1992 to 2009.

During his time as a corporal in the Bundeswehr , he found ideal training conditions in the Sonthofen sports promotion group . At that time he was writing a textbook on curling.

After the disappointing performance of the German curlers at the 2009 European Championships in Aberdeen, where Uli Kapp was only a substitute after a long injury break, he was finally excluded from the team for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver by his brother Andreas Kapp. He then ended his successful curling career. Daniel Herberg has joined the Kapp team as his successor .

He is currently working as a consultant and lawyer as well as a sports commentator for Eurosport and Premiere .
