The Tate Rocks are three small nunatakkers in Princess Elisabeth Land, East Antarctica . In the Grove Mountains they tower 11 km north-northwest of the Mason Peaks .
The nunatakkers were mapped using aerial photographs taken between 1956 and 1960 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named them on July 29, 1965 after Kenneth A. Tate, who was a radio operator at Mawson Station in 1962.
