The Tatina Glacier is a valley glacier in the west of the Alaska range in Alaska (USA).
geography
The nutrient area of the Tatina Glacier is located on the northern flank of the North Triple Peak in the Kichatna Mountains at an altitude of 1700 m . The glacier is located in Denali National Preserve . It flows over a distance of 9.3 km in an initially north-northwest direction, later in a northerly direction. Below at an altitude of 1000 m situated glacier tongue is a Glacial Lake . This forms the origin of the Tatina River , which flows to the southwest and is a right tributary of the South Fork Kuskokwim River . The average glacier width is 800 m.
