Tatiana Grigorieva
Tatiana Grigorieva ( Russian Татьяна Владимировна Григорьева ; born October 8, 1975 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR ) is a former Australian pole vaulter of Russian origin.
She emigrated to Australia in 1997. At the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 , she won the bronze medal in the pole vault behind Stacy Dragila (USA) and Anshela Balachonowa (UKR). At the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester , she won the gold medal ahead of Kym Howe (AUS) and the three third-placed Irie Hill (GBR), Bridgid Isworth (AUS) and Stephanie McCann (CAN).
At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney , she won the silver medal in the pole vault behind Stacy Dragila (USA) and in front of Vala Flosadóttir (ISL).
In January 2007, she announced her retirement from competitive sports.
