Tatschara even Tachara or Tačara ( Persian : "Winter Palace") is the name of the stately residential buildings of an ancient Persian palace - ensembles .

Explanation

A Tatschara is a building type of the ancient Persian palace architecture . In contrast to the Apadana , the ceremonial throne and audience hall, it was intended to be used by the ruler, especially during the cold season. Examples of this are the palace cities of Persepolis and Susa ( palace of Darius I ).
