NGC 2941 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Leo north of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 325 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 2943 , it forms the galaxy pair Holm 136 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 2928 , NGC 2933 , NGC 2934 , NGC 2946 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on April 1, 1864 .
