NGC 2930 is a galaxy of Hubble type S? in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 326 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 65,000 ly. Together with NGC 2929 and NGC 2931 , it forms the gravitationally bound galaxy trio Holm 134 .
The Type Ia supernova SN 2005M was observed here.
The object was discovered by Heinrich d'Arrest on February 21, 1863 .
