NGC 2935 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Water Snake south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 92 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 2920 , NGC 2921 , NGC 2945 .
The object was discovered by William Herschel on March 20, 1786 .
