NGC 2934 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type C in the constellation Leo north of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 357 million light years from the Milky Way and about 25,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 2928 , NGC 2933 , NGC 2941 , NGC 2943 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on April 2, 1865 .
