Tatsuya Murata ( Japanese 村田 達 哉 , Murata Tatsuya ; born August 8, 1972 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Murata learned to play football in the Yomiuri youth team . He signed his first contract with the Yomiuri in 1991 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, the Yomiuri became Verdy Kawasaki . In 1995 he moved to the second division Toshiba (Consadole Sapporo). In 1997 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . At the end of the 1998 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 126 games. In 2001 he moved to league rivals Vegalta Sendai . In 2001 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 52 games. In June 2003 he was loaned to the second division Omiya Ardija . For the club he completed 22 games. In 2004 he returned to the second division club Vegalta Sendai. At the end of 2004 he ended his career as a soccer player.
