Tatsuya Nakamura ( Japanese 中 村 達 也 , Nakamura Tatsuya ; born January 4, 1965 in Toyama Prefecture ) is a Japanese fusion musician ( drums , composition, also trumpet) and actor.

Act

As a teenager, Nakamura was already active as a drummer in bands such as Oxydoll, Genbaku Onanies, The Stalin , The God, Masturbation, Nickey & The Warriors and The Star Club . In 1990 he formed the band Blankey Jet City with Kenichi Asai and Toshiyuki Terui in Tokyo , which was active until 2000.

Nakamura has been writing the music for his first solo album since 1996. Musicians such as Asai, Terui, Ken Morioka and the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra under the name Losalios were involved in this album . From 2002, Nakamura focused on this project. In 2003 the double album Buck Jam Tonic (with John Zorn and Bill Laswell ) was released. In 2006 he founded Twin Tail with Toshiyuki Terui, Yuji Katsui and others. Nakamura also worked under the name Friction with Reck . He also works as a film actor, initially for a film by Shin'ya Tsukamoto .
