The pigeon house is located at the intersection between Dovecot Road and Westquarter Avenue in the southwest of the village. A coat of arms above the entrance shows that it was built in 1647, while stylistic details suggest it was built in the 18th century. It is believed that a pigeon house from the 17th century served as the centerpiece of the tower from the following century that is preserved today. The elongated structure has a base area of 5.5 m × 5 m. The roughly 90 cm thick masonry is made of quarry stone . Above the south-facing entrance there is a ledge that provides approach points for the birds. The building closes with two steep monopitch roofs with modern roofs . However, the rest of the building is still in its original state.
