The Chirnside pigeon tower is a pigeon tower in the Scottish town of Chirnside in the Council Area Scottish Borders . In 1971 the structure was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

The dovecote was built in the 16th century and was one of the outbuildings of the interim broken mansion Ninewells House . In 1992 the building was inscribed on the Scotland List of Listed Buildings at Risk. In 2011, his condition was classified as poor with moderate risk.

The pigeon tower is on the eastern edge of Chirnside not far from the Chirnside Primary School . It is a round, tapering tower in the style of a beehive hut . The brickwork of the tower, which is around 18 m in diameter, is around 1.2 m thick. It consists of rubble from sandstone . Two simple belt cornices run around. Entry holes are embedded in the flat arched end. A rectangular door on the north side leads into the interior. There are 382 nesting boxes on 16 levels.
