Pigeon tower (sarzeau)
The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Sarzeau , a French commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany , was probably built in the 14th century. The pigeon tower has been classified as a monument historique since 1840 as part of the Château de Suscinio .
The round tower made of quarry stone has a roof made of stone slabs. Inside, the many pigeon nests are still preserved.
