The castle Château de Suscinio , protected as a monument historique since 1840 , dates from the 13th century. The fortifications and the entrance date from the 15th century, the pigeon tower from the 14th century. During excavations in 1975, floor tiles made of decorated terracotta from the end of the 13th and beginning of the 14th centuries were found several meters deep . The tiles are now in the main building.

The Kerlevenan Castle was at the end of the 18th century (from 1784) by the architect Jacques-François Jouanne for Joseph-Armand de Gouvello from granite - dry stone built. The stables and the garden with a Chinese pavilion and Temple de l'amour were completed by Jouanne around 1785. The pillars and other decorations are made of limestone . The work had to be interrupted because of the French Revolution (1789–1799) and did not resume until 1814. The architect Augustin Caristie completed the west facade in 1829. The Temple de l'amour was converted into a chapel at the end of the 19th century .
