Saint-Nicolas-du-Tertre is located around 44 kilometers northeast of Vannes in the east of the Morbihan department. Neighboring municipalities are Tréal in the north, Réminiac in the northeast, Carentoir in the east, La Gacilly and Les Fougerêts in the southeast, Saint-Martin-sur-Oust in the southwest and Ruffiac in the west.
