Saint-Tugdual Church

Grand-Champ ( Breton Gregam ) is a French municipality with 5404 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vannes and is the capital of the canton of Grand-Champ . The inhabitants are called Grégamistes .

geography

Grand-Champ is located 15 kilometers northwest of Vannes on the Auray River . Grand-Champ is surrounded by the neighboring communities Moustoir-Ac in the north, Colpo in the north-east, Locmaria-Grand-Champ in the east, Plescop in the south, Plumergat in the west and south-west and Brandivy in the north-west.

The former route nationale 779 (today: D379) runs through the municipality .
