The Canton Grand Champ (Breton: Canton Gregam ) is a French constituency in the arrondissements Pontivy and Vannes , in Morbihan department and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Grand-Champ . Yves Bleunven ( DVD ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 2001 .
history
The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, eight communities belonged to the canton of Grand-Champ. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, six out of eight communes in the previous canton, seven out of eight communes in the canton of Locminé and six of the seven communes in the canton of Rohan moved to the new canton of Grand-Champ.

Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton Grand-Champ comprised eight municipalities on an area of 223.37 km². These were: Brandivy , Colpo , Grand-Champ (main town), Locmaria-Grand-Champ , Locqueltas , Meucon , Plaudren and Plescop .
