The canton Gourin (Breton canton Govrein ) is a French constituency in the arrondissement Pontivy , in the department of Morbihan and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Gourin .
history
The canton was founded on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, five municipalities belonged to the canton of Gourin. With the reorganization of the cantons in France in 2015, all communes of the previous cantons Cléguérec , Guémené-sur-Scorff and Le Faouët switched to the canton Gourin.
