The canton Questembert (Breton: canton Kistreberzh ) is a French constituency in the arrondissement of Vannes , in the department of Morbihan and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Questembert .
history
The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, eight municipalities belonged to the Questembert canton. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, four of the seven communes of the previous canton of Elven and six of the eight communes of the canton Rochefort-en-Terre switched to the canton Questembert in 2015 . At the same time, the previous municipalities of Péaule and Pleucadeuc moved to other cantons. The new canton of Questembert thus has sixteen municipalities.

Canton Questembert until 2015
Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the old canton of Questembert comprised eight municipalities over an area of 233.45 km². These were: Berric , Le Cours , Larré , Lauzach , Molac , Péaule , Pleucadeuc and Questembert (main town).
