The canton Guidel (Breton canton Gwidel ) is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Lorient , in the department of Morbihan and in the region of Brittany . Its main town is Guidel .

history

The canton was created on March 22, 2015 due to the reorganization of the cantons in France. All six municipalities of the former canton of Plouay , four of six municipalities in the canton of Pont-Scorff and the municipality of Inzinzac-Lochrist from the canton of Hennebont form the new administrative unit.
