Le Saint ( Breton : Ar Sent ) is a French municipality with 587 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the community association Roi Morvan Communauté .
geography
Le Saint is located in the north-west of the Morbihan department and belongs to the Pays du Roi Morvan.
Neighboring communities are Langonnet and Le Faouët in the east, Guiscriff in the southwest and Gourin in the west and north.
The D769 runs through the municipality from Saint-Pol-de-Léon to Lorient . The most important national road connection is the N164 far to the north.
The most important bodies of water are the Inam river in the west and the Moulin du Doc brook in the east of the municipality. Both partially form the municipal boundary.

history
The municipality historically belongs to the Breton region of Kernev (French. Cornouaille ) and within this region to the area Bro Chtou (French. Chtou) and shares its history. Le Saint has belonged to the canton of Gourin since 1793.
