Buléon ( Breton : Buelion ) is a French municipality with 534 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Buléon is located in the southern part of Brittany in the center of the Morbihan department and belongs to the Pays de Pontivy.
Neighboring communities are Lantillac in the north, Guégon in the east, Guéhenno in the south-east and south, Bignan in the south-west, Saint-Allouestre in the west and Radenac in the north-west.
The D165 as a connection from Radenac to Plumelec and the D155 from Saint-Jean-Brévelay to Ménéac run through the village . The N24 from Lorient to Rennes is important for national traffic . This runs right through the community. Buléon has its own connection.
The two streams of Sainte-Anne and Ruisseau de la Ville are the main bodies of water in the municipality.

history
Historically, the municipality belongs to the Breton region of Bro-Gwened (French: Vannetais) and within this region to the area of Reter Bro Gwened (French: Vannetais oriental) and shares its history. From 1801 until its dissolution on September 10, 1926, it belonged to the Arrondissement of Ploërmel. From 1793 until its dissolution in 1801, Buléon belonged to the canton of Bignan. Since then, the municipality has been assigned to the canton of Saint-Jean-Brévelay.
