Moustoir-Ac ( Breton : Moustoer-Logunec'h ) is a French municipality with 1804 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Moustoir-Ac is located in the southern center of the Morbihan department and belongs to the Pays de Pontivy.
Neighboring municipalities are Locminé in the north, Bignan in the east, Colpo in the southeast, Grand-Champ and Brandivy in the south, La Chapelle-Neuve in the southwest and Plumelin in the west.
The D767 runs through the eastern part of the municipality from Locminé to Vannes , through the town of Moustoir-Ac the D16. The N 24 passes north of the municipality . The closest connection to this is just a few kilometers north of Locminé.
The river Tarun partially forms the municipality boundary with Plumelin. Other important bodies of water are the Kergueurh , Pontcuel and Pont Ruyen streams and some small ponds. A significant part of the municipality is covered by forest.

history
Historically, the municipality belongs to the Breton region of Bro-Gwened (French: Vannetais) and within this region to the Bro Baod (French: Pays de Baud) area and shares its history. In 1793 the place was still called Moutoir Adenac. It has been assigned to the canton of Locminé since 1793.
