Lantillac ( Breton : Lantilieg ; Gallo: Lantiliau ) is a French municipality with 306 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Lantillac is located in the center of Brittany in the north of the Morbihan department and belongs to the Pays de Josselin.
Neighboring communities are Pleugriffet in the north, Guégon in the northeast and east, Buléon in the south and Radenac in the west.
The place is close to roads for national traffic. The D764 from Josselin to Pontivy passes two kilometers north of the municipality, the N24 from Lorient to Rennes runs five kilometers south of Lantillac.
The most important bodies of water are the Ruisseau de la Ville and Ruisseau du Vieux Moulin . The western, northern and eastern municipal boundaries run along these rivers.

history
Lantillac is first mentioned in 1448 under the name common today. Historically, the municipality belongs to the Breton region of Bro-Gwened (French: Vannetais) and within this region to the area of Reter Bro Gwened (French: Vannetais oriental) and shares its history. From 1801 until its dissolution on September 10, 1926, it belonged to the Arrondissement of Ploërmel. From 1793 until its dissolution in 1801, Lantillac belonged to the canton of Reguiny.
