Roudouallec ( Breton : Roudoualleg ) is a French municipality with 710 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the community association Roi Morvan Communauté .

geography

Roudouallec is located in the north-west of the Morbihan department on the border with the Finistère department and belongs to the Pays du Roi Morvan.

Neighboring municipalities are the municipality of Spézet in the Finistère department in the north, Gourin in the east, Guiscriff in the south and the municipalities of Leuhan and Saint-Goazec in the west in the Finistère department .

The place itself is on the D1 / D15 to Quimper . The most important national road connection is the N164 far to the north.

The most important bodies of water are the Isole River and the Boscadouen , Minez Roudou and Moulin du Pré streams . At the same time, the Isole partially forms the western boundary of the municipality and department, and the Moulin du Pré the eastern boundary. The municipality is partly in the Montagnes Noires massif .

The municipality historically belongs to the Breton region of Kernev (French. Cornouaille ) and within this region to the area Bro Chtou (French. Chtou) and shares its history. Roudouallec has belonged to the Gourin canton since 1793.
