Ewald Fischer-Dorp

Ewald Fischer-Dorp , originally and until 1938 Ewald Fischer (born October 2, 1899 in Frankfurt am Main , † February 5, 1991 in Niefern-Öschelbronn ) was a German judge. He was President of the Regional Administrative Court in Braunschweig and the Regional Social Court in Celle .

Life

After completing his legal studies and receiving his doctorate as a Dr. jur. 1926 in the service of the Protestant church administration. He initially worked in Stettin , Wiesbaden and Darmstadt and was appointed senior consistorial councilor and member of the Evangelical Oberkirchenrat in Berlin in 1939 . After a brief secondment to the Reich Ministry for Science, Education and National Education in Berlin, he was accepted into the Reich Ministry of Economics in December 1943 and appointed Ministerialrat in April 1944 .

After the war, Fischer-Dorp came to the government in Stade . In 1950 he became a government councilor and chairman of a panel in the housing sector. In 1951 he was promoted to the senior government council, but in October of that year he switched to the judicial service of the state of Lower Saxony as administrative court director at the regional administrative court of Braunschweig. In May 1954 he was appointed President of the Regional Administrative Court. On July 1, 1956, he became President of the Regional Social Court in Celle and worked there until he retired in December 1963 to develop the social justice system in Lower Saxony.
