The Roi Morvan Communauté is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany , whose catchment area is in the northwest of the department. The association of municipalities founded on December 29, 1998 consists of 21 municipalities and its administrative headquarters are in Gourin .

history

The Roi Morvan Communauté started on December 29, 1998 as Communauté de communes du Pays du Roi Morvan . In 2012 it was renamed to its current name. All the communes in the cantons of Le Faouët , Gourin and Guémené-sur-Scorff belong to the association.

tasks

The competencies required include the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association also operates the sewage disposal.
