Location of the association of municipalities in the Brittany region

The Questembert Communauté is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany , whose catchment area is located in the southeast of the department. The community association founded on December 30, 1997 consists of thirteen communities, its administrative seat is in Questembert .

history

The community association started on December 30, 1997 with the six communities Le Cours, Larré, Limerzel, Pluherlin, Questembert and La Vraie-Croix. The municipalities of Caden and Molac were added in 1999. Berric joined in 2004 and Lauzach in 2006. On January 1, 2009, the CC grew to include two more parishes, Malansac and Saint-Gravé. When Rochefort-en-Terre joined in 2010, the CC achieved its current status.

In 2015, the name of the community association was changed from Communauté de communes du Pays de Questembert to the current name.

tasks

The competencies required include the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association also operates the sewage disposal.
