Menhir from Kermarquer
The menhir of Kermarquer (also called Menhir de Men-Bras-de-Kermaquer or Grand Menhir de Kermarquer ) stands in a forest about 270 m south of the hamlet of Kermarquer-la-Lande and 470 m west of the hamlet of Kerara, southwest of Moustoir-Ac , west of Colpo in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France .
It dates from the Neolithic and is the highest standing menhir in the Morbihan. The menhir is about 6.8 m high, its top is slightly sloping to one side. Engravings that are visible in sidelight depicting axes and báculos decorate three of its sides.
The menhir has been classified as a monument historique since 1924 .
Nearby is a 1.8 m high menhir with several bowls . About 300 m to the southwest is the 3.65 m high menhir of Kerara .
