Menhir of Kerara
The menhir of Kerara stands in a clearing in the forest, about 300 m southwest of the hamlet Kerara, in Moustoir-Ac in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France .
The upright menhir dates from the Neolithic Age , is over 3.6 m high and 1.25 m wide at the base. There is another menhir or portlaun nearby . The Kerara menhir was classified as a Monument historique in 1965 .
The menhir of Kermarquer is located about 300 m to the northwest . In the vicinity of Moustoir-Ac are also the dolmen of Kermorvant , the menhir of Cosquéro , the menhir du Mené and the two giant stones Pierres Branlante or Pierres Mammouth in the forest near the road Le Porado.
