Locmaria-Grand-Champ ( Breton : Lokmaria-Gregam ) is a French municipality with 1,707 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Locmaria-Grand-Champ is located around twelve kilometers north of Vannes in the center of the Morbihan department.
Neighboring communities are Colpo in the north, Locqueltas in the east, Meucon in the south and Grand-Champ in the west.
The place is away from roads for national traffic. The main road links nearby are the D767 (from Vannes to Lannion; in the east), the N24 (in the north) and the N166 (in the south-east).
The main bodies of water are the Loc'h River and the Camzon Stream . The municipal boundary partially runs along these watercourses.

The parish was created on December 14, 1889 by splitting off from the parish of Grand Champ.
