Baden ( Breton Baden ) is a French municipality with 4340 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany . The municipality belongs to the canton of Vannes-2 in the arrondissement of Vannes .

Baden is located on the Gulf of Morbihan , 12 kilometers from Vannes and 36 kilometers from Lorient at an altitude between −1 m and 43 m above sea level. Neighboring communities are Le Bono , Plougoumelen and Ploeren in the north, Arradon in the east and Larmor-Baden in the south.
The municipality also includes the four small islands of Sept Îles (not to be confused with the Sept Îles archipelago ), Er Runio , Grand Veïzit and Petit Veïzit .
