Plaudren ( Breton : Plaodren ) is a French municipality with 1,946 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Plaudren is located in the center of the Morbihan department. Neighboring municipalities are Plumelec in the northeast, Trédion in the east, Elven in the southeast, Monterblanc in the south, Locqueltas in the west and Saint-Jean-Brévelay in the northwest.
The place is away from roads for national traffic. The main road links nearby are the D767 (to the west), the N24 (to the north) and the N166 (to the southeast).
The most important waters are the rivers Arz , Claie and Loc'h , as well as the brooks Kergolher , Luhan and Rodulboden . The municipal boundary partially runs along these watercourses.
