Locqueltas ( Breton : Lokeltaz ) is a French municipality with 1,758 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Locqueltas is located in the center of the Morbihan department.
Neighboring municipalities are Saint-Jean-Brévelay in the north-east, Plaudren in the east, Monterblanc in the south-east, Saint-Avé in the south, Meucon in the south-west, Locmaria-Grand-Champ in the west and Colpo in the north-west.
The place is away from roads for national traffic. The main road links nearby are the D767 (to the west), the N24 (to the north) and the N166 (to the southeast). A stretch of the former Chemins de fer du Morbihan ran through the town.
The main bodies of water are the Loc'h river , the Camzon , Le Moulin de Kerizac and Rodué creeks and the Locqueltas pond. The municipal boundary partially runs along these watercourses.

The community was only created on February 17, 1864 by splitting off from the community of Plaudren.
