The Locqueltas dolmen is located in Locoal-Mendon , west of Locqueltas and Auray in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The well-preserved dolmen is 6.3 meters long; 3.7 meters of this is in the long corridor. The dolmen has a side chamber on each side of the main rectangular chamber, approximately 2.6 m long and 2.2 m wide. In addition to 23 supporting stones from the chamber and corridor, two ceiling panels, one above the left side niche and one above the corridor, have been preserved.
