Saint-Jacut-les-Pins ( Gallo Saent-Jigu , Breton Sant-Yagu-ar-Bineg ) is a French municipality with 1,733 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Saint-Jacut-les-Pins is located about seven kilometers northwest of Redon in the southeast of the Morbihan department and belongs to the Redon Agglomération municipality .
Neighboring municipalities are Peillac in the north, Saint-Vincent-sur-Oust in the northeast, Saint-Perreux in the east, Allaire in the southeast and south, Saint-Gorgon and Caden in the southwest and Malansac in the west.
The place is not far from roads for national traffic.
The most important bodies of water are the Arz river and the Moulin Éon , Le Quip Douve du Vau de Quip and Les Éclopaz streams . The municipal boundary partially runs along these watercourses. North of the village of Saint-Jacut-les-Pins is the Butte des Cinq Moulins .
