Saint-Jean-la-Poterie ( Gallo Saent-Jan-la-Poteriy , Breton Sant-Yann-ar-Wern ) is a French municipality with 1,500 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany .
geography
Saint-Jean-la-Poterie is about three kilometers west of Redon in the southeast of the Morbihan department and belongs to the Redon Agglomération community .
Neighboring communities are Saint-Perreux in the northeast, Redon in the east, Rieux in the southeast and south and Allaire in the west.
The place is not far from roads for national traffic.
The most important bodies of water are the Oust and Arz rivers and the Brochardais brook . The municipal boundary partially runs along these watercourses.
