God of honor Leberecht Meutzner
Ehregott Leberecht Meutzner , also Ehregott Lebrecht Meutzner , († July 31, 1852 in Altenberg ) was a German mountain official, mountain school teacher and draftsman.
After attending the Freiberg mountain school, where he also worked as a teacher for some time, Meutzner was a district jury in Altenberg in the Ore Mountains , a trade union clerk at the Altenberger Zwitterstocks trade union mountain court and, from 1833, a senior climber and mountain court ladder. At least five of his drawings from underground were revised by Carl Wilhelm Arldt in 1841 and published as lithographs in print, which made him famous not only in the Ore Mountains. In 1842, as a Zwitterstock union foreman, mining school teacher and mining court ladder, he was also the eldest miners in the Altenberg mining area. In 1851 he also worked as a mountain jury at the vassal mountain court in Naundorf (with Sadisdorf).
God of honor Leberecht Meutzner had a fatal accident on July 31, 1852 in the Saustaller shaft of the Vereinigt Feld mine in Zwitterstock when he was hit by an artificial bike .
