geography

Camoël is located about 26 kilometers northwest of Saint-Nazaire in the southeast of the Morbihan department and belongs to the communal association Communauté d'agglomération de la Presqu'île de Guérande Atlantique (Cap Atlantique). The place is on the border with the Loire-Atlantique department .

Neighboring municipalities are Arzal in the north, Férel in the east, Assérac (in the Loire-Atlantique department) in the south and south-west and Pénestin in the north-west.
