Baptismal font in Agonnay

The baptismal font in the church of St-Germain in the Agonnay district of Saint-Savinien , a French commune in the Charente-Maritime department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in 1684 by the sculptor I. The hexagonal baptismal font was created from a block of stone. It bears the inscription: "JACQUES FLANDRIN CURE DE LA PAROISSE SAINCT GERMAIN IA FAICT CONSTRUIRE CES FONTS BAPTISMAUX LE 9 9BRE 1684 I. TIFON BOURDELOIS FECIT" (Jacques Flandrin, priest of the parish of Saint-Germain, left this baptismal font on September 9, 1684 from I. Creating Tifon from Bordeaux).
