Taylor Seaton (born July 16, 1990 in Boulder ) is an American freestyle skier . He starts in the halfpipe discipline .

Career

Seaton made his debut in Les Contamines in January 2008 in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup and finished 17th. In the 2008/09 season he took second place at the Aspen / Snowmass Open and third place at the European Freeski Open in Laax . At the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2009 in Inawashiro he was fifth. In August 2009 he won the Winter Games New Zealand in Cardrona and took second place at the New Zealand Freeski Open. After first place at the New Zealand Freeski Open at the beginning of the 2010/11 season, he came tenth at the Winter X Games 2011 in Aspen and 14th at the Winter X Games Europe 2011 in Tignes . Rank. In early September 2011 he won again at the New Zealand Freeski Open in Cardrona . At the Winter X Games 2012 he came 11th. In March 2013 he came 13th at the Winter X Games Europe 2013 in Tignes. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in Cardrona . In the 2014/15 season he won the New Zealand Freeski Open and finished 11th in the Winter X Games 2015 . After winning the New Zealand Freeski Open at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, as in the previous year, he came 12th at the Winter X Games 2016 in Aspen and ninth at the X Games Oslo 2016 . At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, he won at The Cardrona Games. In the further course of the season he finished third in the US Revolution Tour and World Cup in Mammoth and second in the World Cup in Tignes, thus reaching fifth place in the Halfpipe World Cup. In the Winter X-Games in 2018 he finished fifth in the Winter X Games 2019 Ninth and at the World Championships in 2019 in Park City tenth. In the 2019/20 season, with five top ten placements, he came 18th in the overall World Cup and sixth in the Halfpipe World Cup.
