Teófilo García González (* 1919 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ; † April 20, 2004 ), also known by the shortened first name Tilo , was a Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .
Life
García began his football career at Club Marte, which is based in his hometown of Guadalajara (not to be confused with the capital club of the same name ) and made the leap from there to the selection team of Selección Jalisco , for which he was in the league, which was still officially amateurish from 1940 to 1943 Mayor participated. When professional football was introduced in 1943, he moved to Club Deportivo Guadalajara , where he was under contract until at least 1946.
