Teafuanonu is a small motu in the northern reef rim of the Nukufetau Atoll in the island state of Tuvalu .
geography
Teafuanonu is immediately adjacent to Motulua in the closed northern hem of the atoll. To the northwest, the closed reef rim extends further with several tiny, unnamed motu. Only after a few kilometers there is another well-known island, Matanukulaelae .
