Teairra Marí

Teairra Marí (born December 2, 1987 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American R&B singer. In early 2004 , she was signed by Jay-Z to Def Jam / Roc-a-Fella Records .

Career

With her debut single Make Her Feel Good she landed in the US charts straight away in June. In August 2005 she released her debut album. In 2006 she had to leave Def Jam, and in 2007 she signed a recording deal with Interscope. Her second album was supposed to be released in 2009, was then postponed to 2010 and ultimately never released. 2011 signed a new record deal with Division 1 and Universal. The album, called Sex on the Radio , will be released in late 2012.
